Dear Tiger Community,

Each spring, our students take part in state assessments that help us better understand their progress and growth. These assessments give our teachers and district valuable information to guide instruction and ensure every student continues moving forward.

Testing Dates:

- Lucy Wortham James Elementary & St. James Middle School MAP Testing: April 27–May 8

- St. James High School EOC Exams: April 20–May 1

Families can help students do their best by making sure they get a good night’s sleep before testing days, start the morning with a healthy breakfast, and feel encouraged with a positive and confident mindset. When possible, it also helps to schedule appointments or absences outside of testing windows so students can be present and focused.

At St. James, we believe All Roads Lead Forward, and these assessments are one way we help each student stay on the road to success. Thank you for your continued partnership.

Due to unused inclement weather days, our last day of school will now be an Early Dismissal on Thursday, May 21, 2026. Lucy Wortham James Elementary and St. James High School will release at 12:30 PM, and St. James Middle School will dismiss at 12:50 PM.

We’re planning for an unforgettable evening under the open sky, with a backup plan in place if the weather doesn’t cooperate. Rain or shine, it’s going to be a night to remember for our Seniors!

STJ Tiger Drama presents Beetlejuice, Junior! Get ready for a little strange and unusual!

When Lydia Deetz crosses paths with a recently deceased couple and a mischievous bio exorcist who thrives on chaos, the fun begins. With bold songs, big characters, and just the right mix of heart and humor, this high-energy junior production brings the Netherworld to life on our stage.

Do not miss this wildly entertaining production as our talented students light up the stage. It's SHOWTIME, Tigers!

The Kindergarten Easter Egg Hunt is a cherished yearly tradition in our district. Thanks to the generosity of our community, 2,400 eggs filled the hunt. Fifth-grade students helped hide the eggs, turning the playground into a colorful adventure where our youngest Tigers practiced counting and colors while having a great time.

We are thrilled to share that Seble Stutzman from St. James has been selected as one of just thirty high school sophomores across Missouri to participate in the 2026 Missouri Agribusiness Academy!

Seble will spend a week in June in St. Louis exploring careers in agriculture, building leadership skills, and learning more about farming, ranching, and food production. Congratulations, Seble! We are so proud to see you representing the Tiger community!
